Welcome to the Ribble Valley International Piano Week website. We hope you'll enjoy reading through the pages and finding out a bit about us. With RVIPW 2016 recently having come to a close, our artistic directors and committee will be reflecting upon the week and begin the process of planning RVIPW 2017. 2017 is a special year for us, marking the 30th anniversary of piano week, so we hope to bring you a very memorable festival to mark this special occasion.

RVIPW 2017 runs from Wed July 19th to Sat July 22nd and for more information, see our events page accessed from the menu at the top of the page. We will keep this updated as and when we are able to release details.

Held annually near Blackburn, Lancashire in mid July in the intimate atmosphere of the Croston Theatre at Westholme School, Ribble Valley International Piano Week is a 'must' for music lovers at any level. Since we started in 1987, we have had some stunning performances by a wide range of internationally renowned artists.

Our fabulous venue is set at the edge of the Ribble Valley - the perfect place for a short break or perhaps a day trip to combine concerts with a meal at one of the nearby quality restaurants and a walk in the beautifully scenic countryside - plan your excursions around our programme of lunchtime and evening concerts and events that you will not want to miss.
